Manage Site Pages

Here you can Add, Update and Turn On and Off Site Pages.
Do NOT click on the Turn Off button for the Homepage.
By clicking on the Turn Off button you are saying you don't want that certain page to be active on your News Portal.

There is a dropdown menu at the top of the page, listing all of the layout schemes. Choose which layout scheme you wish to make changes to.



If you want to make a page inactive, simply click on the Turn Off button that corresponds with the site page you wish to turn off. If you ever wish to re-activate the page, simply click on the Turn On button.

To add, change, delete, and re-arrange widgets on a page, click the corresponding Update button.

What is a Widget?

A widget is what we use to display information and provide a special way for a user to interact with a certian application. Widgets can include Headers, Ads, Weather, Polls, RSS Feeds, Calendars, Articles, and ect.



This widget represents a Wide Skyscraper Ad, it will pull up a Wide Skyscraper Ad if you have added one in Manage Ads. Then that ad will display on that certain page you chose.

Insert A New Widget

In order to actaully insert the widget, you need to click on an existing widget. The widget you insert will be placed above the selected widget. You could also click on one of the headers, which will turn blue once you click on it, and then click Insert New, which will put the new widget at the bottom of that column.



To create a new widget, click the Insert New button. You must choose the type of widget in the drop down boxes that appear. Once you are done, click Insert Widget.

Remove A Widget

To remove a widget completely, simply select the widget you wish to dispose of, and then click the Remove button.

Re-arrange Widgets

To re-arrange the order of the widgets, you can select a widget and click the Move Up or Move Down button.

Say you wanted to have the Wide Skyscraper Advertisement be above the Square Advertisement. You would click on the widget you would like to move and click the Move Up button 5 times so that it appears above the Square Advertisement widget.



Some, but not all widgets have settings. If the widget has settings, a box will appear once you click on the widget.

Any changes you make will be lost if you do not click the Save Page button.
