Change Site Translations
This Tutorial will walk you through the process of changing the default titles on your site. These are words and phrases that come with the News Site.
For example, your News section will have the word News in the title bar. But let's say that you don't want it called news, but rather Updates, or maybe you want it to say Latest Rumors, or maybe you are making the site for non-English readers and need to design your headings to be in another language. All of these examples will require you to change the default titles on the page. To do this, you use the Translations menu.
Step 1: Go to the Manage Site Translations section under the Settings tab in the admin area.
Step 2: Select English Default(if this is the language you are using.)The page should display all the default words that appear throughout your site. This is all the language, aside from ads, news stories, blogs, etc. which you add yourself. Every default phrase is listed.
Step 3: Select the Update button at the top of the table.
Step 4: Scroll down to find the phrase you want to change, and then add what you want it to read instead into the text box next to the phrase.
Step 5: Scroll to the bottom of the table and select the button Update Translations.
Congratulations! You have just changed your Default Titles to a custom setting.
